What customers say about us

Louise Hallam

I stopped here with friends on our way home, after a weekend visit to Nottingham, for the Sunday carvery. It was a traditional carvery with 4 choices of meat, a vegetarian option and lots of choice for vegetables. The owner was really welcoming, and the staff were really helpful. It was a friend of ours, birthday and she was offered a free drink too, which was a lovely gesture. I would definitely go back.

Sandra Gale Ross

Beautiful carvery. Not the cheapest meal. But lovely. Pudding gorgeous. Be great if you did a deal for oap. As I took my dad and didn't get discount for him. He only eats a little meal. If you do a deal for oap the staff should have told me.

Stuart Davies

After being stranded on the M1 for 7 hours, we were SO grateful to find this pub. Such a lovely welcome- great food too. My roast beef was amazing, and my Wife enjoyed her vegetarian lasagne. Really grateful for decent coffee and to the brilliant staff that looked after us. It was a whistle stop visit as we had another 2 hours drive across country- but we were very grateful to find this pub. Many Thanks!

James Berridge

Very nice carvery with extra dishes such as beef cobbler, peppered steak, and vegetable bake included in the carvery price of £6.95. (£9.95 on Sundays.) Decor was nice, modern and clean and tables were cleared and cleaned as soon as possible. Will definitely be returning in the future.

Heather Oates

Lovely little pub just off jnc 27 of the M1 at Underwood. The food was piping hot and well cooked. We ordered scampi and chips and fish and chips. The portion size is very good so unfortunately we couldn't manage a dessert. The staff are friendly and efficient and the pub dog is so friendly but not intrusive. Loved it.
